Berlin Wall

 The Berlin Wall was a physical wall, or barrier that surrounded West Berlin so it could be separated from the GDR. The border separated the two Germany’s from Europe to the Iron Curtain.

It stayed separating Berlin for almost twenty-five years, the construction began August 13^th 1961 until it was opened and Berlin reunified in November 9^th 1989. There were almost hundred murderers from people trying to cross to the other side. The ones crossing from East to West, were shot.

The East Germany government allowed to all the citizens to visit West Germany, crowds climbed and crossed the Wall, it was removed and it finally concluded with the Germany reunification in October 3th 1990.
